Felt-tip marker mode
Let's draw a magic wand sparkle
Treat this as one playful practice round: sketch the idea loosely, simplify the shapes, then commit with confident marker outlines and bright fills.
-
01
Angle the wand
Draw a slim diagonal wand stick with rounded ends.
Doodle tip: Make the handle long and simple. The star needs room to sit clearly at the top.
-
02
Add the star
Attach a chunky five-point star to the top of the wand.
Doodle tip: Let the bottom point overlap the handle slightly. That overlap makes the parts feel connected.
-
03
Wrap the band
Add a small ribbon band near the star while keeping the wand angle the same.
Doodle tip: Curve the band around the wand instead of drawing a flat rectangle.
-
04
Pop the sparkles
Place a few four-point sparkle bursts around the star tip.
Doodle tip: Use different sparkle sizes, but keep them away from the star points so the silhouette stays clean.
-
05
Color the magic
Fill the star and sparkles yellow, color the band pink, and add a small purple shadow under the wand.
Doodle tip: Let marker streaks show inside the star. That texture keeps it handmade.
-
06
Brighten the wand
Thicken the black outlines, even the existing marker fills, clarify the sparkle bursts and band, and reinforce the same shadow.
Doodle tip: Stop before adding words, faces, moons, or a border. The star, wand, sparkles, and color are enough.
